Job Summary

Responsible for the management and operation of the Finance Dept, including general accounting, budget, fixed assets, payroll, accounts payable and cost accounting. Ensures all assets are appropriately safeguarded, transactions are properly authorized, processed and recorded, and financial reports are presented in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Ensures the accounting and budgeting functions are appropriately coordinated, standardized and integrated, including appropriate variance analyses. Responsible for the preparation of regulatory and tax reports and for creating policies governing financial reporting in compliance with regulatory and tax requirements.

Qualifications

? Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required

? CPA required

? Master’s degree preferred

? Five years’ experience in financial management of a healthcare related business.

? Supervisory experience required

Physical/Behavioral Requirements

Physical requirements include occasional stooping, kneeling, reaching, frequent standing, walking, and constant sitting. Sedentary physical force is required (exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects). Visual acuity required for computer operations. Ability to speak and hear is required to effectively communicate with staff. Manual finger dexterity for computer use and ten-key proficiency. Ability to effectively manage a high stress environment resulting from supervisory responsibilities.
