? High School graduate or GED.
? Successful completion of General Hospital Orientation and Unit Secretary Training Program provided by Organizational Development.
? Demonstration of competency in the Nursing Assistant/Clerical/Unit Receptionist functions as determined by Organizational Development staff, Unit Secretary Preceptor, and Unit Coordinator on assigned unit.
? Successful completion of a Division of Facility Services approved Nurse Aide I Training Program/competency evaluation.
? Verification of listing with the Division of Facility Services Registry.
? Current CPR certification (BLS Course C) unless meets the requirements for restricted CPR certification.
? Ability to demonstrate verbal and written communication skills and comprehend English required.
? Ability to be flexible, prioritize and organize workload, and maintain emotional stability required.
? Physical ability to perform CPR (unless meets the requirements for restricted CPR certification).
? Ability to endure extensive amounts of standing, walking, and lifting required.
? Ability to perform repetitive digital computer entry required.
? Basic knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations required. |
