Job Summary

Responsible for the financial functions of Health System subsidiaries and affiliates relative to budget process, audit coordination, treasury, tax, and accounting issues (FAS) including accounts payable, payroll, general accounting, revenue cycle, and reimbursement. Ensures all assets are appropriately safeguarded, transactions are properly authorized, processed and recorded, and financial reports are presented in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Responsible for the preparation and presentation of new and current business line evaluations. Collaborates with Health System Controller in creating policies governing financial reporting in compliance with regulatory and tax requirements.

Qualifications

? Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required

? CPA required

? Master’s degree preferred

? Five years’ experience in financial management of a healthcare related business

? Supervisory experience required

? Positive service oriented interpersonal and communication skills required
