Responsible for the management and operation of the Finance Dept, including general accounting, budget, fixed assets, payroll, accounts payable and cost accounting. Ensures all assets are appropriately safeguarded, transactions are properly authorized, processed and recorded, and financial reports are presented in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Ensures the accounting and budgeting functions are appropriately coordinated, standardized and integrated, including appropriate variance analyses. Responsible for the preparation of regulatory and tax reports and for creating policies governing financial reporting in compliance with regulatory and tax requirements. |
